My Fellow DeadJournalians,

For the past 5 years I have funded and ran this site entirely by myself. All while holding a full time job as a Pharmacist. For the past year this site has caused me more headaches and anxiety that I could have ever anticipated.

As a last ditch effort to save my sanity and keep the site running, I approached Brad from LiveJournal.com hoping he would take over the site to keep the community running. To my surprise, he responded favorably and we got started on details.

For the past month we have been integrating the business and technical sides of the two sites.

I feel that this change is for the better of both sites and will cause the community to grow as a whole.

deadjournal has been anything but bad to me.. but now.. i dunno... this is soo not deadjournal.. its bright.. lame.. not a good joke at all not intresting.. nothing.. i dont wanna get used to this a bit. please.. i want you back! its fine and all that you get help w/ this amazing site but please dont make it seem that everyone has a livejournal when thats not what select people want.

ok, its great that Dj is still going to be up and running. but the whole white screen thing is bothering me. i liked it way better before, and i dont like how all the options are different and stuff. PLEASE BRING THE OLD DJ BACK!!! :(!!!

Well I think it's great that you have some help managing the site. I only have one request. THe site is all white and blue now! It's terrible. Perhaps you could talk to the livejournal guy to make it a little less Alive and a little more Dead. I loved it the way it was. At least get rid of the all white background!

ive got no problem with deadjournalians merging with livejournalers [they get the er, cause its so unoriginal]... but did ya have ta change the color scheme? I mean COME ON!! this is so bright... and gross... =(
