My Fellow DeadJournalians,

For the past 5 years I have funded and ran this site entirely by myself. All while holding a full time job as a Pharmacist. For the past year this site has caused me more headaches and anxiety that I could have ever anticipated.

As a last ditch effort to save my sanity and keep the site running, I approached Brad from LiveJournal.com hoping he would take over the site to keep the community running. To my surprise, he responded favorably and we got started on details.

For the past month we have been integrating the business and technical sides of the two sites.

I feel that this change is for the better of both sites and will cause the community to grow as a whole.

...its a prank people, damn. Jeez. Check out the front page of live journal http://www.livejournal.com if you really do think it is... so nothing is going to change at all. Dont get your panties in a wad and just deal with it for today. But yes, the whiteness... fucking sucks.

this just goes to show us how consumed we are with dj. and lj. whoosh. lj was blocked at school so i went to dj then 'membered april fools. although, if it keep up for much longer, i think i'll have a migrane by the end of the nite. whoosh.

i love it when sites get in on the act. man look at all these comments! yea april fools. these colors are blinding us epople! dead journals users need dark websites. the day live journal and dead journal merge into one is the day a falcon flys out of my ass...first my art gallery saying the british have taken over. now dead journal claiming to merge with live journal...im glad ta see the holiday spirit isnt dead!

the new deadjournal lay out really blows. you should change it back. the reason deadjournal was cool to begin with was because it wasnt exactly like livejournal. i dont feel the need to be blinded by the fucking whiteness of this web page.

ummm yeah...didn't really phase me, except i had a headache when i woke up and the brightness didn't help. on any other side...umm nice joke, i think...

as for someones comment on teenage suicide, i would have to agree. The rates would rise a hella lot.
