My Fellow DeadJournalians,

For the past 5 years I have funded and ran this site entirely by myself. All while holding a full time job as a Pharmacist. For the past year this site has caused me more headaches and anxiety that I could have ever anticipated.

As a last ditch effort to save my sanity and keep the site running, I approached Brad from LiveJournal.com hoping he would take over the site to keep the community running. To my surprise, he responded favorably and we got started on details.

For the past month we have been integrating the business and technical sides of the two sites.

I feel that this change is for the better of both sites and will cause the community to grow as a whole.

i realize just about everything has already been said, but i just wouldn't feel comfortable untill i complained as well. i'm pretty sure everyone is right, however, if it only lasted a day, it wouldn't be as good as a week. that would really make people think, and then, when they come back, back to black. i for one can't wait to get back to dead, this live shit makes my brain hurt. and if this isn't a joke, i curse the scurvy schiester bastard that planted this idea...

yeah dude, nice try at the April fools joke, i admit i was fooled, for about 30 SECONDS! but hey whatever floats your boat. All i know is that this white background better get it's a*s lost after April fools day, it's way to chipper and happy. So uhm yeah, Happy Aprils fools.

I'm glad Deadjournal is still around, but I'm sorry to say that the layout sucks for the site. It looks too much like Livejournal and it really blows. Please change it back!

ok. so im not digging this new layout.
the layout is what made deadjournal different.
i mean. livejournal and ujournal they look the same.
we were cool.
we were oh so black.
the sarcastic language doesnt put off the same if its all white and blue.
for crying out loud!!
we are depressed.
and pissed.
i hate to say it.
but we look like an aol groupie.

this better be a joke.
