My Fellow DeadJournalians,

For the past 5 years I have funded and ran this site entirely by myself. All while holding a full time job as a Pharmacist. For the past year this site has caused me more headaches and anxiety that I could have ever anticipated.

As a last ditch effort to save my sanity and keep the site running, I approached Brad from LiveJournal.com hoping he would take over the site to keep the community running. To my surprise, he responded favorably and we got started on details.

For the past month we have been integrating the business and technical sides of the two sites.

I feel that this change is for the better of both sites and will cause the community to grow as a whole.

Hmm.. if this isnt an aprils fools joke..this sucks man.. IT kinda contradicts the whole DEADjournal thing right, because its so freakin bright and cheerly and lively.. THE OLDDEADJOURNAL WAS TEN TIMES BETTER THAN IT IS NOW.. how are you suppose to sign out of your damn name? how are you suppose to sign into your name, and change your theme of your journal.. cause i cant do it now.. my friend tried to custimze my page, but she can sign out of her name into mine.. this is gay.. totally.. do we need the living among us dead?

I'm glad you're anxiety and headache days are over as far as this site is concerned. However, I hope deadjournal can still be run as deadjournal and not lose its authenticity both in design and how it is run.

I hope this is an April Fool's prank. The main reason I dun update often at LJ is cause a the freaking bright and cheerienesss!
