My Fellow DeadJournalians,

For the past 5 years I have funded and ran this site entirely by myself. All while holding a full time job as a Pharmacist. For the past year this site has caused me more headaches and anxiety that I could have ever anticipated.

As a last ditch effort to save my sanity and keep the site running, I approached Brad from LiveJournal.com hoping he would take over the site to keep the community running. To my surprise, he responded favorably and we got started on details.

For the past month we have been integrating the business and technical sides of the two sites.

I feel that this change is for the better of both sites and will cause the community to grow as a whole.

The layout of the site now looks really boring, sorry to say. Pleez change it bak to its kool layout. It looks like Livejournal now. Pleez o pleez change it and make it the nice site it was.

I THINK I'M GOING TO SHOOT MYSELF IN THE HEAD... due to the large amounts of "stupidity" surrounding me on DJ.

First of all, ITS JUST A PRANK
Have you NOT seen all the posts linking to Franks DJ where he SAYS its a prank?
Have you not seen the comments linking to Livejournals Home Page where it says "LJ HAS NOT BOUGHT DJ. IT'S THEIR PRANK"?

Second, yeah, I know the white and blue DOESN'T fit DJ but IT'S JUST A PRANK! It will be back to normal tonight.
You're acting like the world's coming to an end JUST BECAUSE the layout's not dark and "depressing" or "goth-like" as a few have commented describing it as...

I will say it for the millionth time today and if you guys STILL don't get it... I don't know. I know I'm not bright but if I can realize it's all a joke, then you should be able to as well. So... for the LAST TIME....

not remembering what today was, i opened my sleepy eyes to check my dj...then pops up the lj opening. i thought i had made a mistake somehow, so i reloaded the page. when i discovered it wasnt a mistake and that it was dj, i freaked out. i was pissed because i waited so long to get my hands on a dj code and i HATE the way lj is set up. then i was looking around and when i read the "new shit" i immediately knew what was going on. i must say thats a pretty good joke. even my bestest friend got paranoid. lol. thank you to frank for this prank, i got to have my fun with my best friend because she didnt know what was going on. lol it was great.
