My Fellow DeadJournalians,

For the past 5 years I have funded and ran this site entirely by myself. All while holding a full time job as a Pharmacist. For the past year this site has caused me more headaches and anxiety that I could have ever anticipated.

As a last ditch effort to save my sanity and keep the site running, I approached Brad from LiveJournal.com hoping he would take over the site to keep the community running. To my surprise, he responded favorably and we got started on details.

For the past month we have been integrating the business and technical sides of the two sites.

I feel that this change is for the better of both sites and will cause the community to grow as a whole.

Okay, I didn't know what was going on when it was 3 AM and I go to update in the pitch black of my kitchen where my laptop is. and a white screen hits my bloodshot eyes. it was not pleasant. Of course it's great Deadjournal is still online. its the only journal site I will keep up with or even respect.
